Advisory Board

In 2005 a membership referendum voted to change the governance structure of the Association. The governing body changed from the Board of Directors to the Executive Board consisting of elected officers and the immediate past president. The Founding Board of Directors became the Advisory Board and included past presidents and founding boards members. The Advisory Board is no larger than seven, and therefore as each president finishes a term and becomes a member of the Advisory Board the past president furthest back in time leaves the Advisory Board. The Founding Board members are permanent members of the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is represented collectively by the immediate past-president in all voting matters of the Executive Board.
