Legacy Project
The ATME Legacy Project is an archive of writings, testimonials, and biographical
information on senior movement teachers and theatre specialists whose exceptional
work has inspired movement training and creative endeavors. The Project began
several years ago with a discussion about finding a way to honor the movers
and shakers in early theatre movement whose discoveries, refinements, and clarifications
opened doors to what movement training is and can be. Annette Thornton (incoming
ATME Secretary) organized a panel, "Theatre Movement Educators' Legacy
Project: Part One", which was accepted for the 2006 ATHE Chicago Conference.
Thus, The Legacy Project has begun.
The following people have been included in the Legacy Project for 2006:

Spirit”, supported by Rich Rand, Purdue University.
